CAF Confederation Cup: Enyimba set to face Etoile Filante in the next round

 Enyimba will compete against Burkina Faso’s Etoile Filante in the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup. As two-time African champions, Enyimba were among the 12 teams given a bye in the first preliminary round.

Etoile Filante advanced after defeating Guinea’s Hafia FC on the away goals rule. They drew 1-1 in the first leg away and held Hafia FC to a 0-0 draw at home.

The first leg of Enyimba's match against Etoile Filante will be held away on September 13, with the second leg scheduled for September 20.
