Paul Offor Joins Grassrunners FC
Paul Offor, the former coach of Sporting Lagos, has signed a three-year contract with the newly established Grassrunners Football Club. The deal, which extends through 2027, includes an option for renewal if both parties agree.
The club’s CEO, Gbenga Agbejoye, announced the news and indicated that Offor will be officially introduced in the near future.
“We are thrilled to welcome Coach Paul Offor to Grassrunners FC. Securing him on a three-year contract demonstrates our commitment to advancing the club,” said Agbejoye. “Despite being a new club, we have ambitious goals and aim to make a significant impact in Nigerian football. Signing Offor aligns with our vision, and we are pleased that he shares our ambitions.”
He also assured that Offor will receive full support to ensure a smooth transition into his new role. An official unveiling is expected soon.
Offor returns to familiar territory, known for his success in building teams from the ground up. He previously led Sporting Lagos from the Nigerian National League (NNL) to the top tier, NPFL, before moving to Kano Pillars and now to Grassrunners FC in Ikenne, Ogun State.
