BREAKING: Gov. Alia sacks Dominic Iorfa as Lobi Stars Vice Chairman

Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia, Governor of Benue State, has dismissed Dominic Iorfa from his role as Vice Chairman of Lobi Stars FC.

In a statement released by the governor’s media aide, Solomon Iorpev, the removal is effective immediately. The statement noted, "The Executive Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, has ordered that Lobi Stars FC be placed under the Benue Sports Council."

Additionally, a new board for Lobi Stars FC has been appointed with the following members:

- Dr. Philip Nongu - Chairman

- Dr. Iorngulum Malu - Secretary

- Chief Solomon Andiir - Member

- Mr. Harry Yachi - Member

- Mr. Francis Ejiga - Member

- Sir James Iorpuu - Government Representative

The governor has mandated that all management handovers be completed by midnight today, Saturday, September 7, 2024.
