The intense battle for the eight final spots in the 2024 Zenith Bank National Women’s Basketball League kicked off on Sunday and will continue today at two venues.

The MKO Abiola National Stadium's Indoor Sports Hall in Abuja is the site for the Savannah Conference, while the Indoor Sports Hall at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu hosts the Atlantic Conference. Today's Match Day 2 features Nigeria Army facing Kada Angels, Air Warriors going up against Plateau Rocks, Royal Aces challenging Nasarawa Amazons, and Titans battling Nigeria Customs.

In the Atlantic Conference, First Bank has emerged as the team to watch after winning all their matches in the first phase. Other competitors include defending champions MFM, Bayelsa Whales, Dolphins, Delta Force, IGP Queens, First Deep Water, and Sunshine Angels.
