Harmony Chidi and 21 others top list of Flamigo's Squad to the FIFA U17 World Cup in Dominican Republic
Head Coach Bankole Olowookere has included Captain Taiwo Afolabi, alongside forwards Harmony Chidi and Peace Effiong, in his 21-player Flamingos squad for the upcoming FIFA U17 Women's World Cup finals in the Dominican Republic.
Taiwo Adegoke leads the defensive unit with six other defenders, while Harmony Chidi heads the forward line, which also features Peace Effiong.
Nigeria is placed in Group A of the 16-nation tournament, where they will face host nation Dominican Republic, Ecuador, and New Zealand.
The Flamingos' delegation will depart Nigeria on Tuesday, October 1st, aboard a Turkish Airlines flight for a two-week training camp in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, ahead of the tournament.
