SportEPL: Sir Alex Ferguson prohibited from entering Man Utd's dressing room.

 

Legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been banned from the team’s dressing room. According to Mail Sport, the board has also been instructed to avoid the dressing room at Old Trafford, breaking a long-standing tradition that dates back to Sir Matt Busby’s era.

Earlier on Tuesday, it was revealed that Ferguson’s multi-million-pound ambassadorial role has been eliminated by the club's new part-owner INEOS as part of a broader cost-cutting initiative. In another controversial decision, the club will no longer allow Ferguson, the most successful manager in its history, to enter the inner sanctum after matches, marking a shift in policy.

United maintains that they have officially barred Ferguson from the changing room, asserting that there is now a “collective understanding” about who is permitted inside.
