NPFL: Amuneke Celebrates Heartland’s First Away Victory

 

Heartland head coach Emmanuel Amuneke is in high spirits after the Naze Millionaires secured a 2-0 victory over Abia Warriors.

The win marks the Owerri club's first away triumph in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this season. Michael Ogu put Heartland ahead in the 12th minute, and Chukwuma Agor sealed the victory with a 95th-minute goal.

"I’m pleased; we came here with the aim of winning, and in the end, we achieved our goal," Amuneke said post-match.

"It’s a dream come true, but credit to Abia Warriors; they played good football and challenged us, especially in the first half. Thankfully, we managed the situation well.”
